so i missed saturdays coin (i was out), but hopefully this is a good one.(need some help on this one). 1991 is supposed to have only been in sets right? so why does this one seem slightly off center with what looks like a double struck rim at the bottom of only the queen side? no other details look doubled. also is that a die scratch in front of the cariboo's neck? and while looking for a die scratch above the center of the n and a closer to the (dots i will call them), i noticed a little edge where the (dots) meet the rim, (above the a) any comments? i know its pretty beat up but was hoping the flaws would be worth something.
no one on this either? i realize the pics are out of order. but i thought someone would be interested.
No, that's very common especially on the 90's and 2000-2010 quarters. I've had several rolls where most of them were slightly off-center but not enough to give them a premium.
crap. what about the funny stuff by the "dots" and 91 is rare right? this one looks beat up to me but worth anything???? 27 cents?
I can't tell from the pics but if they are a bunch of little bumps, they're probably the result of a dirty/rusty die or bubbling under the plating.
not a bunch of little bumps. where the (dashes?) meet the edge in pic 3, the rim looks doubled spanning both ways from the a
