I don't think it's a die cap. It's in too good of condition. I'm not sure though. Just an observation.
thanks rick,and jay..it does look clean ,and the observe looks a litlle fuzzy looking not clear as a normal coin that's the only thing i see
Yeah, I don't have an answer for why it looks convex/concave, but shouldn't it be mangled a bit if it were capped over a die and struck multiple coins? I don't want to write it off as PMD without an expert weighing in. I just don't know how it could have happened during minting. I'll go do a little research and check back in a little while.
