Help needed to ID this (former) coin

    Hi. I imagine this is an easy one for the pros in Ancients...TIA.

    (No. I didn’t have the coin converted to jewelry. It’s a gift from my wife.)

    A Roman Republican Denarius of P Paetus, similar to this. Kind of a shame it was put into jewelry because it's a rather nice example of the type.

    I mentioned above that it was a gift from my wife and, though I’m getting on in years, I still have no extra body parts that I can do without. I appreciate the idea and I admit it briefly crossed my mind but, very briefly. And she cleans it with silver polish periodically.

    Truthfully, I enjoy it daily as “jewelry”. I don’t see many of my coins that often.
