Help Needed...ERROR QUARTER AND ERROR DIME????

    My guess is that the coins have been exposed to heat-fire damage. when a clad coin is exposed to high heat they tend to bubble up. I think it is because copper melts and a gas forms under the nickel but I am not a chemist so wait for an expert to answer for sure.

    The dime looks like its damaged...the quarter could have a small error with some air under the clad layer...but I don't think so...
