I found this 5 dollar coin for sale, but before deciding whether or not to purchase it, I would like to know if it's real. I can't afford a higher grade and would like to know if it's authentic as soon as possible.

Unfortuneately there is not enough detail showing in the pictures to determine it's authenticity. These are really hard... without big clear pics there is no way of knowing.

The seller doesn't have any other pictures. What should I keep in mind when searching for coins like these?

These indian gold pieces are the coins where the most deceiving counterfeits exist. Things like tooling and depressions on the coin are indicators of counterfeits... I wouldn't pay much more than melt as even most of the counterfeits are still gold.
