    Hey guys,

Some of you may remember back around 4-5 months ago when I scanned in a kennedy half dollar that was double struck and had a rare chain strike on it. Well, I sold it on ebay and all went smooth, until now. Listen to this.

I sold the Coin in early september.

I ship out the coin with a lot of insurance and of course he has to sign off to get it.

He gives me feedback, and says "great coin, etc..."

Now, today, he emails me 4 months later and says he never got the coin!

I'm afraid somehow I'm gonna get screwed and this is a lot of money for me. I do not have the receipts anymore from the post office because I thought the process was done. I know I sent the coin with insurance, and he even gave me feedback, do you guys have any advice for me?

The person or someone else using his/her email and possible eBay Account is apparently trying to pull a scam! I am at work right now but will send you a PM or email later. I would not want this person to see on the forum (in case they visit the Coin Talk forums) what I am going to tell you to do about the situation.

I'm pretty sure you only get 90 days for that stuff. File a fake email alert with Ebay.

If you sold it 4 to 5 months ago then he dont have a leg to stand on and should be told to take a running jump :headbang: You have 90 day's to compleat and leave feedback on the bay after that nothing.

Happened to me before. Send an email to ebay and repoort this as a fraud. What may help if they ebayer is indeed trying to rip you off is to copy him/her on the email you send to ebay. Worked for me before. TA
