I am in the process of developing an informational directory for U.S. coinage. I have collected mass bookmarks and links to sites with help from members on here and plan on making this site a portal to all informational sites available. The directory will contain links to every type and denominations including errors, variety, grading, etc. but I need help with a name. I prefer something that has the word directory, info, or something that is easily findable on search engines. As well as a short name to type and remember. However just about everything is taken. I'm going to get a .com domain but if impossible I'm going to have to switch it to .info. Names anyone?

Coinformation.com is available. I'd jump on that one. Much rather have a .com than a .info.

Yeah its taken. It coyld be expiring though. But coinformation.co is available. I think in the future people are going to be using .co more often.

.com is still where it's at. If your going to put in the time and effort .com is the only was to go. Other wise your customers are going to add the "m" at the end regardless and take them to another site. It's easier to do SEO with a .com.

If the $2600 is the stumbling block offer less. The owner's name and telephone are public knowledge. Give him a shout. I'm sure he'd rather deal direct than have the "brokerage" company take a third.

    Which translates to $260,000.

Twenty-six hundred (or $2,600) is probably what you meant.

Heritage is auctioning off some domain names. I don't think I would bid on one, but you or others might be interested.

OK I AM PROBABLY GOING TO GET IN A LOT OF TROUBLE FOR POSTING THIS, BUT...

this reminds me of the Saturday Night Live sketch where an investment company waited too long to do a web domain search, and the only website name left was www .clownpenis.fart

See the clip here - I laugh every time.
