Welcome to Coin Talk. The coin is from Thailand. I am horrible with the Thai dating system and numbering. The basic currency unit is the Baht. What denomination this is or date I will leave for others with more knowledge to comment on.

It’s 25 satang, or 1/4 of a baht. It’s dated year 2500 of the Buddhist Era, or 1957 AD, but was struck from then to 1987 without a change of date.

I sometimes wonder if I am the only member of CT who lives in Thailand.

Heck, I wouldn't call me a "treasure", Perhaps an oddity? I can sometimes be useful when it comes to reading some of these Asian languages and helping to identify coins. If anyone wants to swap some interesting world coins for UNC Thai coins, I am your man.
