I have three completely worn coins with only the face and some of the rim remaining for identification. I ask you all to please help me identify, and thank you for your help: Coin 1 Coin 2 Coin 3 (looks like it may be a Veiled head 6 pence or Shilling)
It might help (or not, I don't know) to see the reverses of these coins. Also to know what lettering you can see with coin in hand on them.
The reverses are completely worn off. The top coin has the letters "Re..." on the left side, and the bottom coin has the letters IMP on the bottom of the coin (which is why I believe it is a veiled head Victorian). I was unable to make out anything on the middle coin.
I think you may be right about the 3rd coin being a pence, due to the shape of the device (head). As to the others ???????
Possible coin #2 Greece - 1 Drachma - 1873 A Sweden - 1 Krona - 1939 Sweden - 1 Krona - 1942 G Great Britain - 1 Shilling - 1942
jlblonde: Thanks so much! Looks like you are correct for the first & third. I'll have to do some more examination on the second.
