Help: large date or small date?

    In my heart I know it's a large date, but before I toss this copper 1982 D cent back into circulation I would like a second opinion from the ones who know. IMG_4171.JPG

    It's best just to keep all 1982 pennies because they are transitional and collectors will always need 82 examples. Some of the 82s are more sought after than another. Just found a 1982 small date Denver. Gonna check the weight when I get home but sounded and looks like a zinc penny IMG_1508.JPG
