Help in grading silver $ coin 1878(7TF)!

    I am no expert by far but I would guess a MS60 or possibly a little higher if you have the same problem with getting pictures that show the true coin like I do. Very nice coin!!!

    I'm going to go with AU58 as I see a slight rub on the cheek. Nice coin. :thumb:

    Your 1878 has the look of an AU58/ MS61 slider. I would grade it AU58.
    One thing you should know, the harsh lighting tends to make a coin look worse than it is. I have yet to learn how to take a good picture of a coin that I own.
    1878 Morgans are truly interesting. I would sent your coin off for grading and VAM attribution.

    ms-60 only because of the apparent acne on miss liberty there

    always hard to tell as we can't rotate the coin for luster breaks ,ect but i would go w/ at least ms 60 as the eagles breast looks good and i think its just bagmarks on the obverse...might be a little more attractive in hand. nice coin and thanks for sharing
