Hi.....if u guys can ID this coin that would be a great help. As a coin collector i have never seen this coin b4 so i have no clue. I believe its british and between 1500-1600 AD (Henry VIII??) time wise and looks to be copper (i may be wrong). Each white line is 3mm....each photo is 1600x1208 high res. The coin looks better condition wise in person...but is still in poor condition: http://www.geocities.com/scienceman872003/coinobv.JPG http://www.geocities.com/scienceman872003/coinrev.JPG
Hmmm....I'm trying to ID your coin but so far I'm stumped. All I can see for sure is the D.G.R. (Dei Gratia Rex or Regina) and a probable fancy scroll cross on the reverse. There seems to be an H at three O'clock on the obverse. Anybody else know if Henry VIII had copper coins?
