Can anyone help by identifying this gold item/coin? It weighs 4 grams and measures 1.6cms diameter. It has a bit of solder residue on one side, probably attached to jewelry at some time [but definitly not in the last 55 years.]
Both sides seem similar with the figure 250 clearly visable.

Here is a very large coin, [if it is a coin] Weighs 20 grams and measures close to 5cms at the longest. Any clues?
Also I have an eastern coin in my in my profile 'Album' I can't seem to find. Any ideas will be most welcome. Thanks guys.
Sorry about the spelling of the thread title. Couldn't change it.

The second one is a Japanese 100 mon from the mid-19th Century (~1835-1869).

Pre-Meiji coinage is not my cup of tea, so I can't pin it down much more without a lot of reference checking.
