Help identifying

    That certainly looks more like a modern token than a genuine ancient coin.

    I think modern medal as well. Remember that something a couple of centuries old is considered modern here.
    I can not read the letters. If you can read them, try googling letter combinations. I did that on the medal a friend found metal detecting. We were both pretty excited when we saw the date 1830. Turns out the same medal, including the date, has been minted for over a century and a half.
