Hi, I know this isn't a coin but I can't find a medallion forum so thought I would ask here.

As per the title, I can't seem to find any info on this medallion and also asked a Russian friend to translate and he said the first work as "Peter" but the rest didn't make sense to him. Looks like Stalin to me on it but not 100% sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

You could start by googling " Russian WW I Military and Civilian Awards ".

You'll get a bunch of hits. Remember, it takes time to do proper research.

    Read them all.

Thanks yes I have spent a lot of time already researching, including asking a numismatic specialist but have been unable to find any answers so far.

Not Russian but Serbian. The caption: "Petar I - king of Serbia". Serbian is similar to Russian. I understand a little in Serbian.
