  1. Afternoon,

I've come across these gold coins but I'm unable to identify the type and origin of them. Each coin weight 7.9g and measures approx 2.2cm. They have been tested and are 22ct Gold. They're also stamped with the MOM22 with text in Arabic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Images below. IMG_9340.JPG IMG_9341.JPG

Saudi Arabia AH1370 (1950) guinea KM# 36 I don't know the significance of "MOM22", or if the piece is genuine.

@Charitycoincollector Try to do some research on the Saudi Arabia guinea with counterstamps. I don't have time to do further searching, but it appears those with GAI or MOM22 are possibly re-strikes. Sorry I can't be of more help than this but it might get you started on the trail.

It is not a counterstamp, it is in the die. From Krause "Unusual World Coins"
