Help identifying denarius coin

    To my very untrained eye, I am thinking the obverse is perhaps Marcus Aurelius. Am I close, or way off? Thinking it may be this: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/sear5/s4977.html

    As always, any help would be great for this novice collector!

    Here's your coin. Kind of a neat Roma type, with "ROM" in the exergue. Nice portrait too.

    Need to find an "Ancient Coins for Dummies" type of book! The time span is so massive, it's really hard to find a place to even start. Definitely interested in it though.
