I have a coin looks to me like either a 1794 or 1795 large cent. I am looking for any help in figuring out which it is.

I would bet on 1794. Though there is a great deal of wear/corrosion I believe is see curls at the base of Lady Liberty’s neck which would tell me 1794.

thick planchet lettered edge LIBERTY down againt the hair 1794 S-44 - 72 or 1795 S-73 thru 76. Position of the 1 compared to the hair wave eliminates all the 1795's. Now to see what I can do with the rev

OK rev is Breens rev BB which means S-49, 50, 51. 52, 53 or 54. Back to the obv again

L is too close to the cap to be 49, 50 or 51. LIBERTY ir too close to the hair to be 51 or 52. Junction of hair and forehead is too far left in relation to T to be 53. So I'd say S-54 an R-3 variety.
