6. This one has Chinese tape on the back holding it together? Or maybe I'm an idiot. Thanks for your help.
Hi. It seems you have a collection of private bank Chinese issues. Pretty beat up too! The tape is anything they could use in the day to keep the note from falling apart and is usually glued on.
#3 (A) The center five character strip is upside down Upside down it reads right to left Western style: "Hu Nan ?? Yin Hang" I dunno whut the middle one is. Sheng!
#1 1927 #3 1928 center row of characters of 3a is upside down I'm giving up on editing... A pile of tabs while searching can lead to [my] confusion and loss of accumulated data.
What this world needs is a 'copy' that can retrieve photoed text... Then ya can go to a translator. Like in #s 2&3 there's that backwards "R" on the left... ...my other left! That gives a "Hu" for Hupeih and Hunan. etc.
Thanks for trying and helping me out. These things are so brittle... don't know if they're worth trying to preserve in any way.
Great as "trinket" gifts, tossed in among others... But with a semi-rigid top-loader...at least a "sleeve".
