    DJP7x0s Sometimes Coins Arouse Me

Hi, I got this coin in change as a dime. It is a proof, its the size of a dime and has a similar reverse as the roosevelt dime. But Im not sure who is depicted on the obverse, but I dont think its roosevelt. Oh and on the reverse at the bottom of the coin, it says .999 Pure Silver. And its dated 2005. Anyhow, Im not very familiar with modern commemoratives, but figured some of you might be. Can anyone tell me What the coin is called and who is on the Obverse??? Oh and is this from a set or was it sold individually??? And does anyone know if this was minted by the united states mint, or perhaps another mint like franklin mint??? Any info would be greatly appreciated, here are the pics.

It is not a coin and yes it was issued by a private company.

Somebody should have explained to the author of that stupid article that Jefferson was scheduled to (and subsequently did in fact) remain on the obverse of the nickel during the Lewis & Clark episode, and that Roosevelt died during his fourth term, not his third.

It also claimed Roosevelt died in 1946...just to point that out too. Oh well, so the author owns no history books.
