I was wanting to know if anyone can help ID these coins. The first is a 1623 (Possibly a Batzen?) from Switzerland(or so I think). The other two are 1732 (Half-Thalers???) from Switzerland????? I really don't have a clue here guys, these are merely guesses from teh little that I can find on the internet typing in the words on the coin. Help a brother out!!! Thanks in advance!

Hang in there ASU - as soon as Bart comes by he'll be able to help twice as much as me. Switzerland, Germany, the Baltics - just aren't my forte.

The first one looks to me like you are right. A Batzen swiss MON: NOVA SVITENSIS 1623 / TVRR FORTISS NOM DOM (Imperial Eagle)

The second and third are 20 Kreuzer 1732 (swiss) DILEXIT DOMINVS DECORUM IVSTITIAE / MONETA REIP SUBSYLVANIAE SUPERIORIS

    Answer

#1 Schwyz Swiss Canton, 1 Batzen
#2 Obwalden Swiss Canton-listed under Unterwalden 20 Kreuzer
#3 Obwalden Swiss Canton-listed under Unterwalden 20 Kreuzer

These are the answers I got on these elsewhere. These seem to be the same names for them that I was able to come up with.
