My mom is from Canada and we're heading up North for thanksgiving later in October. I have about $20 Canadian from roll searching and I'm looking to spend it when we go up. What can I get for $20?

    My collecting interests include:
    Walking liberty halves
    Morgan dollars
    IHC's
    Wheat Cents

In canadian coins I have a 1939 dollar with parliament on the reverse, and a 1950's (can't remember the date) dollar with the guys in the canoe.

I'm open to suggests of what to get!

For $20, you can pick up 3-4 Victoria large cents. The silver would be sold for scrap value only. $20 will also get you about 6 gallons of gas.

My recommendation would be to put that $20 into a Charlton Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins or another coin reference book of your interest.
