Help finding shows or shops E Tn, E Ky, WV

Hi,

Like a lot of people here, I am new, and would like to attend a show and find some shops in my area. I live in Eastern Ky and typically we have to drive at least a couple of hours to find such things. For me the Huntington/ Charleston WV, Tri-cities area of East Tn or even Knoxville, and Lexington, Ky areas would be the closest for me. I would appreciate if anyone that lives in those areas could share some ideas for shops and/or shows where I could get my feet wet.

Have you checked Coin World magazine ? It lists monthly and upcoming major shows by state.

 

There will be a coin show in Irvin KY on Sat - I was going to be set up as a dealer there, but it looks like I won't be able to make it. I'll try to post details on the forum later with the location and etc..

Thanks Koindog, I gotta check the newstand for that, and will check that out.

I will check my schedule, I am not sure, but I don't think I have to work Sat and Irvine is about 1-1/2 or so from here.

I have done some google searches, but have come up empty handed so far.

There is a nice shop in Jackson KY. It is in the Wal-Mart Plaza. Was there last time I was down 6 months ago.

 

I used to travel to Jackson, KY once every other week when I was in sales out of college. WOW, the memories. I didn't know they had a shop there. Darn! I would have blown all my money there so maybe it was a good thing.

 

Most of my family live there or near by. It is accross from where the Win-Dixie was.

 

I will have to take a trip to Jackson sometime then. Thanks for the info!
