I have two coins that you can not see the dates on due to possible errors? I've tried looking them up but cant seem to find some exactly the same. All opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. The three cent nickel has been holed during its lifetime. It looks like someone tried to effect a repair and did a poor job of it. The three cent nickel is not an error.

What's your thoughts on the wheat penny?

Well, errors aren’t my area of expertise. I’ll let one of those guys jump in.

Okay, thanks. I'll see if I can add some better photos.

The penny looks like damage to me.

Both are damaged coins. Looks like someone tried to plug the hole on the three cent piece.

    3c piece: old plugged hole.

    Wheat cent: dented.

    Both damaged.
