Help, double die or double stamp??

    Below is a 1983 Sudan 1 Piastre. It is brass, and typical of these Sudanese coins poorly struck. But most of this coin's reverse shows doubling. I can get a close up if needed. Some of the (in fact most of the edges) edges of the doubling are not really flat but show some roundness. So is this a double strike, or the result of a double die? I am not sure, help would be appreciated!!

    I'd go with Doubled die , as I'd imagine a 2nd strike would obliterate the original strike . But I'd wait for a more expert opinion .

    Looks like a doubled die to me, and a fairly dramatic one!

    Thank you all for your considerations, it does appear to be a doubled die. I can only guess at how rare it may be, but its a keeper.
