I mostly collect coins and exonumia, though I occasionally purchase banknotes and notgeld. Most of them I have acquired are already in protective holders. Today I purchased a low grade Confederate 5 dollar note and a Phillipines One Peso Victory note raw from a dealer at my local antique mall from a large currency lot they purchased earlier today. They mostly deal in coins and had run out of all their holders. They gave me some document protectors they had on hand but they aren't transparent or ideal for protecting notes. I guess I could have had them hold on to the notes for me until they got more holders in. A bit late for that though. The only store in my area that sells holders and albums is a Hobby Lobby which only has holders for coins last I checked. I need some suggestions for a good quality holder and the ideal holder size to place these notes in.
Holders - http://www.denlys.com/inventory/holders.asp I keep a few sizes, and then cut them (with a paper cutter) to size for the specific notes, so that a small note doesn't end up in a huge holder.
