Help: Bronze planchet manufacturer, Paris, late 1800's

Hi!

I'm trying to finish some research, and I need to verify the possibly-misspelled name
of a Paris-based planchet manufacturer, "Exguer & Mesda", that appears on several
primary documents. The papers imply that a number of European mints sourced their
bronze blanks from this company in the very late 1800's, and I'm hoping someone here
finds the company name familiar.
