I hope it's okay to post medals on this site?...This is an old greek medal made of sterling silver measuring 2 1/8" diameter. I attempted to translate some of the Greek but didn't have much luck; all I determined was January 1938, and the name Frederica. It is signed by the artist Β. ΦΑΛΗDEAX and marked "1000" on the side. Anyone have an idea what this medal commemorates? Anyone know the approximate value? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

looks like a royal wedding commemorative medal, there was a Greek royal wedding in 1938. Princess Fredericka of Hanover and prince Paul.
