Not sure what to call this penny weight 4.15, I also added to other pennies for they might be related Improper annealing , Mule strike, die clash, heavy strike. I did research these coin and I found so many diff. stories. What say you Keep, throw it back?
Dude.. which one weighed 4.15? The first one? It looks like someone added material to it. It's an altered Cent. All I see are well circulated Cents and some with heavy post mint damage.
I'm not sure what that first wad is. It might have started out as some foreign coin. If you see design elements from a cent on it, please post clearer photos that show them -- but I'm with @paddyman98, if it ever was a cent, it's got stuff stuck on it.
I think you are trying to hard!!! Why don’t you just try to find mint state coins and go back to studying errors for a while. Even if the coins that you are posting were errors they are trashed and worthless. Do more homework than posting and members will be more likely to help you. Just trying to help you out.
Said it before and I'll say it again. The minting process, get to know it. Learn what errors are actually possible and what they truly look like. Learn to sort the wheat from the chaff yourself. It narrows and focuses what you are looking for and what you are asking.
Thanks, for input and suggestions, I'm trying the best I can, at times I drift off, past 70 it happens, let alone mind frame. Are my pictures getting better, onestep at a time. Thanksagain
Also try to only post 1 picture at a time. It's ok to post more than 1 per thread if they are clearly described but we have no way to know which of those coins is the one you say is over weight. I suspect the one that looks to be a melted mess.
