Hawaii Proof Sets?

    Anybody know anything about these? What are they worth? Sorry about the bad scans. Being limited to 950 sets I would think they should be rare.

    Yes, they were made by the minter who minted the Norfed coin and idea. Some of his best work actually. He is now or still in litigation for that legal prosecution case of minting the Norfed dollar coins, I think. Those gold sets go for various prices, my guess is right around $500. If I am wrong, someone here will correct me.

    All I know is some of the Norfed coins go for the big dollars. I think the first Norfed was in 98 and they themselves go for big money. Here’s a link which tells the story of Bernard NotVonHaus. Oh don't be surprised if the article has political overtones, of course not my cup of tea but nonetheless tells the story.
