    Good morning everyone,

I used to have palmasoncollection.com but I am redoing the site and want to go back to .is wich is the Icelandic domain ending.

Now I can choose from coins.is or coin.is

Wich one of those would you pick for your collection ?

Siggi! You had such a beautiful site before! While I'll miss the old one, I look forward to what you do wiht the next one, too.

If you are keeping your name in the URL, then I like: palmasoncoins.is

If there's more to the name than coins.is or coin.is, let us know, as that may change preferences.

  4. I like coins.is as well. Looking forward to your new site. TC

coins.is seems like a great domain. I just checked the reg fees for this at ISNIC, around 100 euros per annum.

    Thanks everyone,

There is areason why i´m changing the name. I´m currently working on the first complete catalog of Icelandic coins, tokens and varieties. The catalog will not include prices but I will have a anual update on prices online i.e. on the site. So the catalog, my collection and some other usefull information will be ther. So i´m looking at either coins.is or coin.is. Krispy the look of the site will be much alike the old one but with some changes and it´s being done by a professional so it will be easy to maintain and add photos ect. The other one was very heavy to upload so there will be alot of nice changes.

I would register both and use coins.is and have coin.is redirect to coins.is. It is very likely that a significant number of folks will use the wrong one which ever one you choose. This way you don't loose any. A second domain and redirect should be very cheep.
since you are dealing with coins, plural, I think that is the more natural name.
Looking forward to checking it out!
