I am kind of stuck between the O-111 and O-112.(a big price difference)

While there is a die chip below the arrowhead on both the o111 and o112, the O-112 does not mention anything about the arrowheads being sharply recut, while the O-111 does. Although, NEITHER of them mention anything about a die chip next ton the "1" The "B" in Liberty being finished or not is also a big tell tale sign, which I can't quite tell. Any thought or opinions would be appreciated!

PS-Im leaning toward the O112 because it is a lot more common than the R6 O111...

It's not a O-111, these two die marriages are very easily mistaken. The main pickup points I use when differentiating are:

1 in date - for O-111, the left base of the 1 is missing
Star 1 - for O-111, S1 points to the center of the dentil. The star points between dentils for O-112.

You can't truly confirm a die marriage without seeing the full obverse and reverse, but considering that only O-111 and O-112 use Reverse H, and yours isn't O-111, I'm all but certain your coin is an O-112.

Thank you! Appreciate the insight! The price difference was definitely worth getting someone else's opinion.:) Any idea about that die chip by the "1"? I don't ever remember specifically remembering this on any other O-112's I have seen.

    definite O-112.

The O-111 does not have the bottom left serif on the 1.

    easy way to check.

    :)

Good luck, and note: I've been looking for ages.

Some day, the king of cherry picks, aside from the 17/4!
