Who's that German guy who loves his tooled coins? Looks like he had wee smidgen too much Schnapps before he pulled out the Dremel.
Pius appears to be singing an aria. Some of the Roman Republican bronzes in a certain upcoming (non-eBay)auction made me cringe more.

No, but I clicked on the link and in the suggestion at the bottom of the eBay page where it says "More like this" was one of the worst fakes of a post-death Antoninus Pius denarius that I have ever seen, and a tooled Trajan As. The rest was mostly junk...oh, and what is most likely a cast fake of a dupondius of Nero. Looks like eBay ancients is a minefield of fakes, tooled coins, and overpriced junk. I don't know how you all have the patience to sort through that garbage in search for the rare genuine coin at a decent price. In 15 minutes of jumping from coin to coin I didn't find much that was worth a second look.
It's honestly getting worse and worse. There is coins that have been on there since 2009 when I started buying them from there. Some sellers have 700 coins that are not even ancient that ends up cluttering the listings, it's annoying. I haven't got anything in a few weeks on there, thats rare for me.
I generally shop only trusted dealers that I have gotten recommendations. Otherwise, pot-luck searching and ensuring you have a real coin.
