have walkers come out of junk silver status for lower grades

    Scanning threw the price guide in the new ed of coin world. And common pre 1933s in g4 are almost $2 over spot.$9 Commons after 33 in g4 are a little over spot$8 but in vg there almost $2 over spot $9wile au kennedys are $7.50 which is closer to spot. Also all common g4 barbers are $9. Coin world is not the only place ive seen this recently

    Oh and also 41-47 walkerd go up $3 each grade up to ef. Vg $9 F $12 VF $15 EF $18 Most my junk walkers ibe gotten from junk silver bins are vg-fine

    I use CW to determine what the price is to beat.
    In other words I treat their values as high retail.

    i know that bout coin world but ive seen it on other guides as well. another thing is my 1917 walker in g4 used to be $3+ over common eary dates and now its the same price

    Even if you see it in a half dozen different magazines or price guides - that does not mean that the values are accurate.

    There are exceptions for certain date/mint combinations, but as a general rule of thumb for the coins you are talking about you should consider their real value to be melt plus about 10%.

    I still get them for the price of other junk so it dosent matter to me
