Have These Varieties Been Listed in the Red Book for a While?

I was creating my NGC Registry Set of IHC's when I found out that 1886 comes in 2 varieties!!!
I find it difficult that I could have missed this when I was putting the set together.
Anyone that has a Red Book 20 or more years old, would you please take a peek and see if the 2 varieties were listed.

Just a quick answer such as "1999 has them" or "1999 doesn't have them" will suffice.

My 1975 Red Book has 2 different types listed. This is the only Red Book I own btw :)

I believe that @Treashunt collects Red Books and has a full set.

They are not listed in my copy of the 1970 Blue Book.

    Okay, thanks.
They were around before I started my set.
I just missed that there were two varieties.

I'm in the process of correcting my error.

Well, I checked the 15th edition, 1962 and it has both varieties.

Do you want me to go further back?

    Thanks, Chris

Okay, first listed in the 10th edition, 1957, as 1886 (2 var.)
