    Welcome to CoinTalk.

    The good news is your coin appears to be genuine. The bad news is it appears to have been polished. Plus it is encased in Lucite.

    I don't think it would be worth the effort to remove the coin from the Lucite. I would keep it as is for a paperweight.

    I agree it's also a common date morgan, so it isn't woth that much money anyway. As Hobo said it does make for a very cool paper weight.

    Thats a pretty cool paperweight, would love to have something like it on my desk.

    As others have already stated, I would not attempt to remove the coin from the Lucite. I would personally keep it, but if you want to sell it in today's market, you could expect to get $10-$20.
