alrighty, i am quite certain this hasn't been coated -it wheighs 2.8g being very new to this however i am unsure whether to tell it was cleaned or not. and due to this newness factor i am horrible at grading, so fire away if you will, does this get put in a holder of some sort or really spark up that board in my whitman book?
It doesn't look cleaned to me. Looks like the pretty standard patina that happens to a steelie. Put it in the album!
looks good to me. i would suggest not putting it in the album because if you store it in an area that could get damp it would rust.
should it stay in the whitman or be put in something else? i have an album on here now with all of the whitman lincoln pages. i know there are no beauts but hey, it is a start
Go ahead, put it in the Whitman to complete your collection. Just don't store the Whitman in a high humidity area.
Looks like a very genuine '43. I don't see why it shouldn't go in an album unless you have reason to believe humidity or contaminants are a problem. Enjoy it! Lance.
