LOL, I knew what it was before I even clicked on your link.

Yeah, this has been a hot topic on a lot of coin forums. It's not a concern to me, because it's not in my area of interest, but I can certainly see how modern Mint product collectors/investors would be crying "foul".

Guess the outcry wasn't loud enough. Remember what happened when the Mint wanted to issue more Buffalo commems?

There is a lot of talk on the dealers network also. I emailed the Mint to see if this is a new run or if it is the returns. No answer yet. A quick check of Ebay is showing that many of these sets are selling at less than issue price.
    Interesting to say the least.

Now all we need is the 1999-S Silver proof set, the Peace Nickel, the Tenn. Mint State Quarters and the Rhode Isl. Mint State Quarter Set. They must be laying around somewhere in a corner of the Mint.

What a cheap shot. I better hurry up and buy a few sets.

I always thought it was kind of a dumb issue anyhow.

If it's a new issue with different tribes represented, then I don't think there's a problem. I find it hard to believe that it is, though. I think they had the coins and worked up another contract for the pouches and is part of the same run. Not a good idea in my book.

How about some more 2004 proof and mint sets? That would go over nicely too. This whole pouch set is a real good example of how why you should "buy the coin, not the package"
