I bought one for my camera and liked it alot. The case is made of polypropylene copolymer and the foam that came with it is made of polyurethane.I like to use it to store coins in mylar 2x2.Thanks

We used them in Iraq, great boxes and very tough. I have one for my laptop, and my camera.

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

    Very interesting question.

I have been keeping some inexpensive silver (and copper) coins in a Pelican for about 5 years. They are in Danscos primarily. No negative effects as far as I can tell.

My pelican case does not have the foam in it, however. It has the padded dividers.
