Has anyone tried making a coin into a keychain?

I'd like to carry around a keychain that has a coin in it that represents my collection (low value, very common coin obviously, nothing rare, just a coin I'd willingly "sacrifice"). Has anyone tried making a coin into a keychain? How did you do it, what did you use, how did you put it together?
