Hey everyone, I’m new to this forum and hoping you folks can give me some insight on this 1956 D Lincoln Cent I found. Top coin is the error. Bottom is regular. Mint mark is much closer to date. Has anyone seen this error before?
It's not an error. Because mint marks were hand punched into the individual dies, they were all over the place. It's a quite normal coin.
