First, welcome to the neighborhood @MC511 ! Your query is nothing unusual. We get people coming here all the time who think they have found something rare. The problem is that they aren't familiar with the minting process and don't know what the coins should and shouldn't look like. You also have to realize that the physical condition of coins in circulation can take on all sorts of strange shapes just from contact with other coins.
