Hello, I am new to the group and I have been searching and searching the web for this panda ring. It is rectangle and I haven't been able to find any. Do ya think they just reshaped it? I got this as a gift when I was a little girl and I can't find even a ring like it!? I was thinking about selling it but if it is very rare then I want to know before I sell it. LOL

Howdy MandMcolors - Welcome to the Forum !!

I don't see a panda coin in your pics. I swee what appears to be a sovereign from Great Britain and and a gold bar from Credit Suisse - both of which are very common and have been set in rings. Their value would based on the gold content only.

It is 1985 not 95 sorry. Ok, I didn't know much about them. I seen a coin like the kangaroo one on ebay (wasn't in a ring) and it sold for almost a thousand dollars there were 2 of them in the auction. I thought maybe they were rare. The one with the panda on it I haven't found anywhere. Guess they are too common LOL Thanks for the help!

My apologies - I only saw the first two pics earlier, I didn't scroll down far enough.

Anyway, the coin with the kangaroo on it is from Australia - they are commonly known as Roos. The gold bar with the panda is just a gold bar made by Credit Suisse. And yes both are very common and the value is still based on bullion content as I said earlier.
