Has anyone ever put together a grading "quiz" online?

I'm just wondering, has anyone ever put together a little practice quiz so that newbies (like myself) can practice grading coins? I'm envisioning something that just shows the reverse/obverse up close, then you click next and it reveals the coin grade, and perhaps an explanation of why that grade is correct.

I think something like that could be really useful to new hobbyists. If it already exists, great. If not, I'd be interested in possibly putting it together and getting it stickied on the forum.

Anyone else interested in seeing something like this?

that is not a bad idea, but you should know grading is not a quick learn. Its takes extreme familiarity with the coins, years, populations and mints.

I'd definately give it a shot, but I know the results will most likely disappoint me. I could use help grading some series anyway.

Thanks. I'm not foreseeing this being a training manual that could turn you in to a professional grader, more of a tool that new folks can use to familiarize themselves with what something that's truly mint looks like, roughly where the dividing line between AU and BU is, that sort of thing. And something that focuses on common varietals--morgan and peace dollars, eagles, state quarters, buffalo nickles, indian head pennies...not obscure stuff.

If others are interested, I propose that anyone who wants to contribute can send me the following, and I'll start to build it:

-Brief description of coin: type, year, mint location, anything else pertinent
-2 large photos of the coin quality, one obverse and one reverse, I'll black out the actual rating if it's in the picture
-The rating of the coin (should be something that has actually been rated), only if it's not shown in the submitted picture
-Any details that explain why the coin was rated as it was.

This could be kind of a fun and useful project.
