    Dear Mr,

    I hope you are well.

How is work and all Sir?

I have a lucrative deal and I thought it wise to share the same with you Sir.

Do you buy or have a buyer for Old Yugoslavia Dinars, Old Argentina Pesos and Old Historical Box-FRB-TOV Baby Box?

Edited: This should be enough. How did he get your email? and know you were a collector? That would be my concern.

Thank you Sir, you must do the needful. By the way, you also owe the I.R.S. money. I will take your payment now. Please arrange for a wire immediately to avoid further legal action. :angelic:

As with most forum sites there are robots (bots) recording any scrap of info it is programmed to gather. This site ( when I just checked) had 43 doing their thing for advertising. You can check by clicking 'Home' and then members currently on , to the right. Jim

I would buy those dinars, but I need the money from the Nigerian prince first.

Unfortunately, it's just not that hard to put together information. Here on CT, we have your name, birthday and a link to your business... the business web site has an email address.

Any number of ways this can happen. One possibility is that the email address book of someone that you do business was was hacked. In a case like that, Ian may have also been in that "address book".

Hackers like to use aliases in the list to send email to potential victims. By using that same address book, there is a chance that the recipient will actually recognize the fake address as someone they know and actually take the bait.
