I’ve bought this marcus aurelius from lodge antiques and it’s really good condition and looking at lodge antiques collection a lot of their coins are in really good condition and was wondering if you think this coin is genuine and if you think lodge antiques is a trustworthy dealer.
Although I have never purchased from Lodge Antiquities, I see nothing wrong with the coin you present. In fact, it not only looks genuine, it is a very nice example. I looked at the Lodge Ant. Vcoins store and found some nice coins; however, nothing but nice, genuine coins.
Nothing about your coin is fake, it has correct style and no casting seams. Lodge Antiquities is one of my favorite stores in Vcoins. Here are some coins that I bought from them in the past:
I've purchased from them before. They do often have very nice coins at reasonable prices. I purchased my Diocletian antoninianus from them.
I just received my third purchase from Lodge today. So far I've had nothing but good experiences with them. They have frequent and varied updates with clear pictures and fair enough prices and all of my orders so far shipped the day after my order. I can recommend them.
I have also purchased from Lodge Antiquities and would recommend them as well. As far as I know, they are a reputable coin and antiquities dealer and only offer genuine coins.
I have been dealing with John Cummings from Lodge Antiquities on and off for 30 years. My most recent purchase being only this week. I have never had a single problem.
