Ok, i couldn't find the section titled "post your holiday wishes here" so i am putting this uder this section. Moderators, feel free to delete, censor, move, copy, paste or print and hang on your walls... this topic I will be off deer hunting the next several days, so will not be here to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! to those who are not celebrating this holiday for whatever reason, you may all have a good weekened too and so - before i forget..... A Thanksgiving Wish We have all been through tough times and it usually happens more than a few times in one's lifetime. I would like to make a wish that Daggerjohn's immediate family does get through this temporary phase of sluggishness and come out of it with flying colors! Happy Thanksgiving Daggerjohn... RickieB
I also wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Among the things I'm thankful for are: 1. This great community of coin collectors and experts. I have learned an incredible amount in the 15 months I've been a member here and had lots of laughs, too. I appreciate the civility, the fact that the moderators keep the discussion from going off track or getting personal and the willingness of everyone to provide information. 2. The diversity of political inclinations here; we range from left wing to right wing extremists and everything in between, yet we get along to share in our common interest. It's an interesting exposure to alternate points of view. 2. That we live in a country where we are completely free to express ourselves online and in every other way. 3. That we live in a country with enough safety and affluence to permit large numbers of people to collect coins, realizing that in some parts of the world, just getting enough food and shelter is a struggle. Have a Happy Holiday.
I think Daggarjon nailed it folks. If you celebrate Thanksgiving enjoy it. If not have a great day anyway! We all need a great day now and then no matter what the occasion.
