Handling coins

    My grandson is coming to visit, 4 years old. Maybe it's time
    to start teaching him something about coins. I am hoping to
    use my updated "Touchy Feely" collection.---John

    It is good that you have taken the photo. In a few years you can post before & after photos of the collection.:D

    That is a wonderful idea. Interest the kid in coins, and allow him to experience them. Plus, when he's older he will also see where his handling of the coins got him.

    Ha, that`s cute and a good idea.
    Hope you have fun!!
    Maybe when he`s older you can teach him about cleaning them (why not to) and how to use the rock tumbler....;)

    Add a cheap slabbed coin to the mix. Some day he might see one out in the wild (antique shop, home of a friend, etc).

    One of my best coins was 'discovered' by a young relative in an unexpected venue.
