I recently bought this coin at a small antique shop in Xianyang, China. I did some research and its supposedly a coin called "da quan wu shi" dated to the end of the Han Dynasty. I heard it's somewhat common to find one nowadays, but I'm not sure if it's a fake. It weighs about 6-8 grams, is around 2.7-3.4 mm thick, and has a diameter of around 28.3 mm. I would really appreciate if someone could give their opinion on this. Thanks!

Perfectly genuine and an earlier issue of this type by Wang Mang (his first monetary reform) and likely issued between 7 and 9 AD.

It looks genuine as far as I can see, but you need to rotate it clockwise 90 degrees from how it's showing your photo.
