    1964 90% silver
    1965-1969 40%silver
1970-D 40% silver and this was not put in cir...only in mint sets.

Thats about it--at least on my list....there are others I guess like the 1974-D DD and such.

they told me to look for the proof S's. as these were only released in proof sets.

Yes that is true---But I've never found one yet and I've been getting them for some time....I guess you have to be at the right place at the right time.

They also issued silver clad S halves in 1976 - 11 million of them. And more than a few made their way into circulation.

The 1987s and 2002-2005 also have a lower mintage and were not released for circulation.

At work, I found a 1986 S, good condition. Also, the 2001 P were never put into Circ., 22 million of them. The mint released rolls last year of them

    Are the bicientenials worth keeping?

If I recall correctly, the bicentennials had one of the highest mintages, and whenever I get a roll from the bank it seems like they make up a third of the roll (another 50% of them being either 1974 or 1971). I spend them.

I believe 1986 are worth something. More if there p mint and a little less if d I have a couple of them.

JD--I wouldn't keep them unless they are BU...

I think they are only worth about $3 in MS63....
